  • Congratulations to the NYS PTA Past President Susan Lipman who was elected to the National PTA Board of Directors at the National PTA Convention held earlier this month. We know she will do an amazing job as you serve this association and the children for whom they advocate!

• Response to Article in New York Times about Use of PTA Trademark (June 4, 2012) 

  • Recently in the New York Times there was an article re: a NYC parent association and their fundraising activities. Since NYS PTA does not have units in the NYC school system, the unit in question is not part of our association. This is a misuse of the PTA registered trademark and the activities are not consistent with our mission and purposes.
