National PTA recognizes that schools with well-structured, consistent
parent involvement programs experienced profound benefits for students,
parents, educators, and overall school quality.

is why National PTA set standards for parent and family involvement
programs – more than 30 years of research
and over 100 years of practice helped to develop the standards
by which parent involvement programs can excel. Building Successful
Partnerships takes identifying the needs of your school community and
developing effective ways to meet those needs.
