Feedback and Opinions

Responding to member needs in a world that changes more rapidly every day requires a strategy that invites members to offer their views and then shares the collective opinions with others. We use the opinions and feedback section of the NYS PTA website to invite your thoughts on a variety of topics. We will share the results of that input when appropriate, and use the information to guide our advocacy efforts and shape future services.  You will be able to evaluate event activities by selecting a link to an event evaluation survey which will be accessible on this site following that event.

Surveys

New York State PTA's vision is to make every child's potential a reality by establishing the New York State Congress of Parents and Teachers, Inc. (NYS PTA) as the premier organization for parent involvement and advocacy for all children.

But, do our grassroots PTA members share this vision? The invitation to participate in surveys is being sent to you so that we may better understand how our unit, council and region members view PTA's advocacy mission. The main question: Is understanding and taking action on issues that affect the education, health and welfare of our children and youth a priority for you? If so, do you feel adequately informed and prepared to take action? If not, why not? How can we better assist you with this?

By responding to questions, you will provide critical insight as to how NYS PTA can better engage our grassroots members to speak for every child with one voice and align PTA resources and training with member needs.

Watch here for future surveys. These may be simple with only one or two questions, or they may be more extensive when circumstances require more detailed information. As responses are tallied, we will often post results for your review and further comment.  We thank you in advance for taking the time to participate!
