NYS PTA supports A2577b/S4070, otherwise known as Erin’s law.
This legislation would require instruction on the prevention of child sexual exploitation and abuse for children in grades K-8.
Instruction in child sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse is critical for the protection of our children. Children will be self-empowered and be aware to help other children and friends who may be facing abuse situations themselves.
NYS PTA fully supports this legislation and urges its swift enactment.
