We are happy to share that the New York State Board of Regents announced that Brockport School District teacher Christopher Albrecht has been named the 2018 New York State Teacher of the Year. Congratulations!

Mr. Albrecht, an educator for more than 20 years, is a fourth-grade teacher at the Fred W. Hill School in Brockport and has served in this role for the past 14 years. .

New York State Teacher of the Year Application

The Teacher of the Year program recognizes and celebrates outstanding teachers throughout New York State. Eligible teachers are appropriately credentialed, work directly with students in a public, private or charter school and have at least five years teaching experience.
