Tom Czyz, a now retired Homicide Detective and SWAT team operator, and his business partner, Tino Amodei, founded Armoured One in response to the Sandy Hook massacre. They brought together a team of experts in active shooter attacks from SWAT Team operators, elite military personnel, federal agents, and educators with the intention of protecting schools and preventing the loss of lives during mass shooting attacks.  Armoured One then collaborated with teachers and school administrators to create a real solution for school attacks. ONE (Our Nations Experts) Training is a nonprofit organization that empowers schools to confidently respond to an active shooter attack, save lives, and secure our future. This training is available for ALL NYS Schools working in conjunction with PTAs. We focus on providing customized training programs that tailor the training to specific roles within each school community.  When it comes to preparedness and response, you are in the hands of experts.

EF helps teachers change their students’ lives through educational travel. And frankly, EF does student travel better than anyone else. Our secret sauce? A time-tested blend of product innovation, global expertise, and superhuman support. When students travel on EF tours, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, grow more confident and independent, and understand new people, places, and cultures. And when educators lead these tours, they grow in countless ways, bringing back a new perspective to their own classroom.
If your school needs to raise money, then you need to rethink fundraising. Everyone is tired of catalog sales and selling merch that no one wants to buy. That’s why New York State PTA decided to give you something different for your PTA fundraiser. We’ve partnered with Funds2Orgs, the nation’s leading shoe drive fundraising social enterprise. For years, they’ve worked with thousands of schools, PTAs, educational groups, and others in a creative fundraiser. There’s no need to sell anything, and there’s no need to ask for any funds.

Choking is the #1 leading cause of accidental death in our schools.  Did you know that 1 child dies every 5 days from choking. Is your child’s school equipped with a rescue option if the Heimlich fails? LifeVac’s CEO and Founder was determined to develop a choking rescue device after hearing about a woman devastated by the death of her young son. A grape was lodged in her 7-year-old boys’ windpipe and the Heimlich maneuver failed, and the young boy died.  This led to LifeVac’s mission to bring this life-saving apparatus to market that currently has saved 112 lives.  LifeVac should be in every home, schools, disability organizations, police and fire departments, restaurants, nursing homes, and airplanes. We are on a mission to save a million lives around the world.  Please visit our website to learn more about LifeVac and read the testimonials of the lived saved by our choking rescue device.
Mental Health and Wellness in Schools. MHANYS works to end the stigma against mental illness and promote mental health wellness through training, education, advocacy and policy, community-based partnerships, and by connecting individuals and families to help. This includes working with schools.  Law now requires schools to provide mental health education as part of the health curricula, and we are committed to supporting educators and schools through implementation. As students have a better understanding of their own mental health and that of their family and peers, MHANYS believes that it is imperative for educators to also have an understanding of mental health and wellness, for schools to be prepared to respond to the mental health needs of students, and for communities to work together to support access
