NYS PTA was excited to unveil the brand-new logo for our Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) program during this past weekend’s Summer Leadership Conference!

Congratulations to all of the talented students who participated in the logo contest. We are incredibly proud of your creativity, imagination, and hard work. Your submissions showcased the spirit of PARP and made selecting a winner no easy task.

A special congratulations goes to Mika from Plainview-Old Bethpage PTA in Nassau Region. Mika’s whimsical and welcoming design impressed the judging panel with its creativity and thoughtful approach. Judges were especially moved by the artist statement, which explained how the color palette was intentionally chosen to be more inclusive for individuals with epilepsy.

Congratulations, Mika, on creating a logo that is both beautiful and inclusive. We are excited to see this new logo represent the Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) program and inspire a love of reading for years to come.
