🌟 Assembly Programs (Large-Audience, High-Impact Presentations)

💙 1. M.A.C.H.O. Assembly

My Actions Can Help Others is a high-energy, interactive kindness and empathy program designed to empower students to be everyday heroes. Using music, games, storytelling, dance-offs, and volunteer challenges, students learn that their small, positive actions can make a huge difference.
Through roleplaying, call-and-response, and visual cues, this assembly helps build a culture of compassion and respect schoolwide. MACHO Awards and interactive bulletin boards extend the message beyond the stage and into daily life.

Target Audience: Grades K–6 | Ideal for SEL week, kindness month, or school culture kickoffs

🧠 2. Strength of Body, Strength of Mind

This motivational fitness and mindset assembly is based on the true story of Dan Lurie—a legendary bodybuilder born with a hole in his heart and told he wouldn’t live past age five. Instead, he defied the odds and lived into his 90s, building both physical and mental strength along the way.
Presented by his grandson Tyler Lurie (a North Woodmere resident, martial arts instructor, and dynamic performer), students are inspired to set goals, overcome setbacks, and believe in themselves. Includes on-stage student participation, audience engagement, and real-life lessons about perseverance, health, and grit.

Target Audience: Grades K–6| Perfect for Red Ribbon Week, health units, and character ed themes

🏊 3. Swim Smart – Water Safety Education

Created in partnership with lifelong Jones Beach lifeguard Cary Epstein, this interactive and age-appropriate assembly teaches life-saving water safety rules through storytelling, demonstrations, and volunteer participation.
Students learn the importance of always swimming near a lifeguard, how to spot rip currents, when to call for help, and the “dos and don’ts” of pool and beach safety. The program includes a high-energy “Dress Like a Lifeguard Relay” that drives home key safety takeaways while keeping students actively engaged.

Target Audience: Grades K–6 | Ideal for pre-summer send-offs or schools near water

🧤 Little LifeSavers Workshop Series (Hands-On, Small Group Instruction)

This 3-part in-school workshop series teaches real emergency response skills to students in grades 3–6 through small group, hands-on practice sessions. Each session is led by certified instructors and uses age-appropriate CPR mannequins, training defibrillators (AEDs), and other realistic materials. The series includes:

  • ❤️ CPR & AED Training: How to recognize cardiac arrest, call for help, and perform chest compressions + AED use
  • 🍽️ Heimlich Maneuver & Choking Prevention: Identifying choking vs coughing, proper back blows, and abdominal thrusts
  • 🌰 Allergy Awareness & Anaphylaxis: How to recognize symptoms and administer an EpiPen safely
  •

Workshops are capped at 30 students per session to ensure every child gets direct practice. Many districts opt to run multiple sessions for full grade-level participation. This series is often funded by curriculum budgets rather than PTA funds due to its life-saving value and hands-on format.

Target Audience: Grades 3–8 | Best for health units, safety weeks, and STEM/PE curriculum enrichments. Sports teams
