2022 NYS PTA Legislative Summit
February 16, 2022 – 6 pm – 9 pm – VIRTUAL FORMAT!
Join NYS PTA members from across the state on February 16, 2022 for the continued virtual Legislative Summit format.
Hear from experts and PTA advocates on critical issues facing students, educators, families and schools while learning the ‘How To’ of advocacy!
NYS PTA will also be scheduling meetings with State legislators. If you are willing to participate in these meetings, please indicate that in the last question. We will be scheduling lobby meetings and training prior to the scheduled legislator appointments. Virtual Legislator visits will generally be held during business hours, Monday – Friday, February 28 – March 11, depending upon the legislator’s schedule. While these are optional meetings, they are a great opportunity for PTA members to meet with policymakers to share their experiences relative to the 2022 Legislative Summit key issues.
Note, you must attend the Legislative Summit to attend a virtual legislative visit.
