In August 2025, National PTA announced the 330 PTAs that earned the 2024-2026 School of Excellence designation, as well as the top three Schools of Excellence that achieved the 2025 Phoebe Apperson Hearst Awards. National PTA’s School of Excellence program supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools that strengthen connections with families and work to improve the educational experience and school environment for every child. Earning this designation distinguishes these PTAs; helps attract new, action-oriented PTA members; and opens the door to other honors and opportunities for their school communities.
