Membership Goals
Members = Voices The more members we have, the more voices there are, and the louder and stronger our advocacy becomes on the local, state, and national levels. Remember “everychild.onevoice”.
The purpose of a goal is to inspire growth, creativity, and spark motivation to move our association forward. Make space for fresh ideas and have fun striving to reach your goal! As your PTA grows, remember to track your progress and celebrate the wins along the way.
Use our Membership Thermometer to show your community how quickly your PTA is growing! This is a great tool that your PTA can edit and use to help show everyone what your goal is and how close you are to reaching it! We have templates for the thermometer already set up for you. You can use the Canva Template or PowerPoint Template. Simply click on your preference of Canva or PowerPoint and edit away. Both are super easy to use, but if you need help please contact pta.office@nyspta.org.

Student Members must equal 20% of your total membership
Enter at least 10 new members (teacher/staff, community member, alumni)
Enter at least 17 new members
Enter at least 6 new members – 3 badge tiers (6, 10, 20 members)
Complete Google form and answer questions about membership campaign
Membership Growth over last year by 100%, 75%, 50% or 25%
Earn 5 or more Membership Badges
